Claude Code reset times are account-specific. The error banner and Settings → Usage show the clock that actually blocked you.
When does Claude Code reset? At the timestamp shown for the exhausted limit. A five-hour session window and a weekly window can disagree. Check /usage or claude.ai → Settings → Usage. AI Limit cannot compute a private Claude reset time.
Three clocks people mix up
Session / 5-hour — often prints a time today (for example “resets 3pm”).
Weekly — often prints a weekday (for example “resets Mon 12:00am”).
Opus weekly — if present, has its own bar; other models may still work.
Read the limit error — it usually includes resets ….
Run /usage in Claude Code.
Confirm on claude.ai Settings → Usage for the same account.
Do not hard-code a countdown into scripts. Provider policy and account state change.
Claude vs Codex reset
Codex personal times live in ChatGPT Settings → Usage or /status. Codex also has public global / banked announcements that AI Limit can track. Claude Code does not have that public reset feed on this site.
