A small native iOS app for developers who live in Codex and want to know when resets happen.
AI Limit is an independent iPhone app that tracks public Codex reset announcements: the latest reset, time since reset, history, average interval, widgets, and push alerts. It does not connect to your OpenAI account, so it cannot show your private remaining usage — use Settings → Usage or /status for that.
What the app does
Radar — latest reset, time since reset, and a countdown when a reset is scheduled.
Reset history & stats — every tracked global and banked reset, total count, and average interval. Same data as the web history.
Widgets — Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. See Codex widgets.
Local time — reset times shown in your time zone.
What it does not do
It does not read your ChatGPT or Codex account, your prompts, or your private remaining percentage. That is a deliberate privacy choice: no login, no OAuth, nothing to revoke. To check your own windows, follow how to check Codex usage.
Who it is for
Developers on Plus, Pro, or Work seats who hit the 5-hour or weekly wall and want to be told when a public reset lands, instead of polling a website. Requires iOS 17 or later.
App vs web tracker
The web pages (live status, usage tracker guide) show the same public data. The app adds push alerts, widgets, and Live Activities, which a browser tab cannot do.

AI Limit monitors public Codex reset signals and sends an alert directly to your iPhone. It does not read your private ChatGPT / Codex remaining usage.
