Codex Reset Widget for iPhone

Keep the latest public Codex reset on your Home Screen or Lock Screen instead of opening a browser.

OpenAI does not ship an iPhone widget for Codex. AI Limit provides Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for public Codex resets: last reset, time since reset, and a countdown when a reset is scheduled. It does not show your private remaining usage.

What the widgets show

How to add the widget

  1. Install AI Limit and open it once so it can sync.
  2. Home Screen: long-press an empty area β†’ + β†’ search β€œAI Limit” β†’ pick a size β†’ Add Widget.
  3. Lock Screen: long-press the lock screen β†’ Customize β†’ tap the widget area β†’ add AI Limit.

Widget vs notification

A widget is passive: it is accurate when you look at it. For something that interrupts you when a reset lands, turn on Codex reset notifications. Most people use both.

Limits of a public-data widget

Public resets do not always cover your plan, and a widget cannot read your own 5-hour or weekly clock. Confirm with Settings β†’ Usage or /status β€” see how to check Codex usage and when Codex resets.

Add the Codex reset widget
